Amigos: it is a restaurant that offers different types of food; they offer excellent lunch menus, dinner specials, breakfasts and amazing burgers.
Panamonte restaurant: it is actually the Panamonte hotel’s restaurant but you can enjoy a meal there even if you are not staying there. The food is amazing and the staff is super friendly. They offer all types of gourmet cuisine and wonderful cocktails.

Java Juice: is the best place in both Boquete and David to have the best burgers they offer different types of burgers and all types of natural fruit shakes.
Antojitos Taco Place: offers great Mexican food, you can choose between fajitas, tacos and nachos. All of the choices are great and inexpensive.
Tammy’s: offers amazing burgers, roasted chicken with fries, but their specialty is their Middle Eastern dishes like hummus and falafel.

Caffe Pomodoro: it is located at the Valley at The Hotel Rio, it is a beautiful environment with serene surroundings. The food is not that great but the environment makes up for the food.

Yalty’s Boquete Country Inn: is a bed and breakfast that offers the best American breakfast in all of Boquete. You can choose between strawberry and banana waffles, strawberry pancakes or blueberry crepes. It is a little expensive but it is worth it.

Volcan is a small town located in the mountains of the Chiriqui province, next to the Baru volcano. Wildlife and fresh air spread across the vast lands of Volcan. The town has beautiful private and public gardens and a host of small local souvenir stores.

Baru volcano is the tallest mountain in Panama standing at 11,398 ft. high. Baru is a dormant volcano yet potentially active, not a dangerous scale though. The last major eruption was back in 500 AD, which was obviously a long time ago. The volcano is high enough that you can see both the Pacific and Caribbean sea at peak point.

The rainforest is beautiful and never ending, almost magical. You’ll notice different animals flying across the blue skies and jumping from one branch to another. So much life can be seen in every direction, definitely an experience to remember. If you’re staying for a couple of days, even the hotels like, Bambito have so much to offer and show. The architecture is gorgeous and surprisingly looks like a giant house with beautiful windows and designs. As mentioned earlier, everything at Volcan seems so magical and undeniably pure.

You might want to go visit the natural reserves which are packed with rich indian cultural roots, like the ngobe indians. Many ancient trails are located at different points of Volcan, safe and open for adventuring. Volcan is a little far away from the city but it’s definitely one of the best places to relax and have fun with the family or alone.
